About Shep

Meet Shep! Shep is a 2.5-year-old German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a growing love for life! His birthday is December 24th, so he’s basically your own little Christmas miracle waiting for a forever home. Shep has been working hard on his training and is this close to graduating—but he’d love for his future family to step in and join him for his final sessions. It’s the perfect way to bond, learn his commands, and set him up for lifelong success. This handsome boy has a sweet, cuddly personality and loves to curl up on the couch for snuggles. When he first arrived, toys weren’t really his thing—but now he’s obsessed with his ball and a few favorite chew toys. Shep is neutered, microchipped, and ready for adoption. He does well with female dogs after proper introductions but would prefer a home without dominant males. He is untested with cats. Shep is looking for a patient, dog-savvy family who will continue to guide him, help him build his confidence, and of course, share lots of snuggles and playtime.
