About Maui

Meet Maui — The Sweet, Goofy Companion You’ve Been Waiting For! Maui is a 4-year-old Bully Mix (70+ lbs) with a contagious smile, a soft heart, and a deep love for being as close to his people as possible. He’s a cuddly Velcro pup who thrives with structure, clear boundaries, and positive reinforcement. Maui is crate trained, house trained with a routine, and walks beautifully on a gentle leader. He’s playful and goofy—he loves tug-of-war, running outside, and then snuggling in for a long nap. Maui enjoys other dogs and plays sweetly, but he does have a tendency to be possessive of space, so he needs a family willing to guide and train him through those situations. He loves kids and is incredibly gentle at heart, though his excitement can accidentally knock over small children. Maui has mild skin sensitivities (needs anti-itch shampoo), ears that require regular cleaning, and is currently being weaned off trazodone. He’s looking for a patient, loving, consistent family who will give him guidance and a cozy place to land. If you want a loyal, affectionate companion who will follow you anywhere—and make you laugh with his mirror-barking antics—Maui is your guy. ❤️Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
