About River

Location: Dartmouth, MA River is a 1-3 yr old female blue heeler mix who will be spayed before adoption. She was recently a mom to a litter of seven puppies whom are all being adopted soon. So now it's time to find momma her forever home. She is very lovable but she is also protective of her home so we do not recommend a home where strangers are coming and going. She is ok with dogs if you introduce her slowly, this may change once her last pup leaves and she is no longer a momma. She came to me with a lot of good scars on her face. She was living with her owner in a car with 5 other dogs. She knows commands but due to her previous living situation she needs some one in one obedience training.. She is vert smart. She is known to escape so leaving her alone will need some planning. She has been good with the foster kids. Males dogs she is better.
