About Bear

Bear is no longer for adoption; he will remain here and live with us, so many people really missed out on this dog. He is my protector and lifelong Buddy. Niro, or Bear as he is called, is a wonderful boy but needs someone who knows and understands the breed, has high energy, very committed to HIS owner. He is about 4-5 yrs old. 58lbs at the time of neuter but thin. He bonds totally to his person and wants to be with them 24/7. SO he needs to be in a home with one female, no men. He acts as though he has been severely abused and has no time for men. I think someone got him but had no idea how to train him. Discipline at the wrong time becomes abuse. He is a scary barker at strangers, so NO neighbors, visitors, or children. He needs someone firm enough to keep him in line but gentle enough to do it with kindness. He is excellent with other dogs, large and small, with no idea about cats, but he ignores most of my farm animals. He will only be placed with someone who has experience with these breeds, and it will take several visits for him to get to know you. He has all the disappointment he needs in his life, and I will keep him rather than place him in a questionable home. He has been neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, HW neg. Fee $350
