About Huxley

Huxley's momma was adopted from a high kill shelter in West Texas. Her adopter was told she was fully vetted and low and behold a few weeks later out popped puppies. He and his siblings were split between us and another local MN rescue. They love other dogs and are around young children. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training. Hi, my name is Huxley! I arrived in Minnesota in October 2024 with my sister who has been adopted! I am a very sweet boy who loves to give kisses. I am timid around new people, but once I get to know you, I want to be best friends. I absolutely love other dogs and would love to have a dog brother or sister to play with! I have not been around cats for extended periods of time. I love sleeping in my foster mom's bed at night; she gets a pillow and I get my own! I do a pretty good job of going to the bathroom outside, but if my foster parents are at work and I have to go while I'm in my kennel, I will do that. My foster mom has me on a potty schedule, and I won't have accidents in the house if the schedule is followed. I am an energetic boy who would benefit from a family who likes being active! I am a good walker on the leash most of the time, but if a dog is barking at me, sometimes I want to see what the noise is about! In between those walks, I play in the yard with my foster siblings! I am good in my kennel; as soon as my foster mom opens the treat jar, I will run to my crate so I can eat my treat! Food, treats, and bones are the key to my heart!
