About Cora

Cora is SPECIAL NEEDS. She appears to be deaf. Her foster has discovered this over the past month. But this doesn't slow her down at all. Cora is an adorable pup who is full of life, despite a rough start. She enjoys playing with her toys, taking walks and spending time with her people. She is very curious & loves to explore and check out new things. She is crate trained and is currently working on potty training. She is very smart & food motivated, so training is going well. (We will start basic training - sit, down, stay - once she has healed a bit more). She walks on a leash, but will need a bit more training - she is a puppy after all! She rides in a car very well - usually just laying down to relax during the ride. She gets very excited to see other animals - since she is recovering from surgery, we have not officially dog or cat tested her. She also loves meeting new people - her little wiggle of excitement is precious! Cora will most likely be a medium to large dog and has a lot of energy, so a nice yard where she can romp and play would be ideal. She would probably benefit from a sibling who can show her “the ropes” and would most likely be good with kids over the age of 10 (since she gets excited).
