**Please scroll down and read the entire bio before emailing with questions. We will not respond to emails that ask questions already in the bio of the pet or generic questions of "how old is it?", "can I get more information?", "oh it's so cute", etc. You must fill out an application in order to schedule an appointment. Please be prepared to move forward if you are applying. Here is a link to our online application https://almosthomenm.rescueivey.com/apply/adopt The application can also be found and downloaded from our main website https://almosthomenm.org/available-for-adoption Once you have filled out an application please watch your emails to schedule an appointment. Please be aware we do not hold dogs until an appointment to meet them is scheduled. Approximate DOB 5/1/2025 – About 45 lbs History: Jett ran out of time at a local shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized. At the last minute he was rescued and is now looking for his happily ever after. Current Status: Jett is a wonderful young boy who is eager to learn. He is leash trained, crate trained, working on house training, and learning basic commands. He goes for training at the park and is very focused on his person. This handsome boy will be an amazing addition to any family wanting a sweet, smart, active dog to take on adventures. He would do best in an active home with a family who can continue his training so he can grow up to be the best he can be. He has met other animals in the foster home and has done wonderful. Good with the other bigger dogs (not very good with smaller dogs) and is just so smart and eager to please. Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations Adoption Fee $200 We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. Send an email to request the application or you can download it from the main site www.almosthomenm.org and email it to adopt@almosthomenm.org Dogs are seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved. If you have other dogs it is recommended you bring them out to the meeting but not required. Steps for adoption: Read bio, email to request application or download it from the main website, fill it out completely and email it back, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet, schedule an appointment, directions will be emailed or text to you.
