About Mya

Mya is our super sweet senior looking for a new forever home. She had to bounce around a couple times before finding her way to us, but she is now ready to find a new family to settle down with and live out the rest of her golden years! We haven't had the chance to have a play group yet but she seems happy to see other dogs on leash. She would love to go for daily walks with her new people and she already does great on leash! This pretty lady would be perfectly content being a couch potato with you and the family and would surely make a great new loyal companion. She'll be here waiting for you so don't wait, come say hello! APPROXIMATE WEIGHT: 71 lbs. ESTIMATED DOB: 11/1/2024 GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS: GOOD WITH KIDS: GOOD WITH CATS: REQUIRES A FENCE: ACTIVITY LEVEL: LIKES TO VOCALIZE: SPECIAL NEEDS: BREED EXPERIENCE NEEDED: APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT FOR 1ST TIME DOG OWNER? FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained". The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us. Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training. We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility.
