About Doli

Doli is a 3-year old blue girl that we rescued her from a shelter, she was in very rough shape—starved, weak, and covered in Demodex mange. On top of that, she tested positive for heartworm. But through it all, Doli never gave up. Today, thanks to months of nourishing food, lots of love and excellent veterinary care, Doli is fully recovered and ready to start the next chapter of her life—with a family who sees her for the strong, beautiful soul she is. Doli is a classic “velcro" Doberman. The moment you reach out to pet her, no matter how busy or curious she is, she completely melts into your touch. She's sweet, affectionate, and eager to bond with her people. She's good with calmer, passive dogs and would do well with a playful canine companion or as an only dog. No cats or very small dogs. She can be active, but she also is very content being a couch potato snuggling with her humans. Young children would not be a good fit for her laid back nature. Because of her history on the run, a physically fenced yard is a must to giver her a safe place to play.
