About Grimm

Grimm, and his best friend, Siri, are currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process!"Meet Grimm ā‚¬ā€ a gentle, laid-back 5-year-old black Lab mix with a sweet soul and a playful streak. He€™ll turn 6 on November 17th, and he€™s already neutered, house-trained, crate-trained, and wonderfully well-mannered.Grimm€™s personality is the perfect blend of calm, independent, and cuddly. Most of the day he€™s relaxed and happy to lounge nearby, but bring out a tennis ball and you€™ll see his eyes light up. He loves chasing balls and bringing them back again and again, content and proud of every return. With a medium to low energy level, Grimm enjoys gentle daily routines: walks around the neighborhood, a little outside time, and of courseā‚¬ā€food, which he finds highly motivating and rewarding. He listens very well and is especially endearing when he leans in for cuddles. On leash, Grimm walks politely and responds to commands with ease. Socially, Grimm does well with some dogs and some cats, and he€™s been calm with childrenā‚¬ā€polite and gentle, though not particularly playful with them. He thrives with his current dog companions but may need slower introductions with new animals, so he€™s a good fit for a home willing to go at his pace.Grimm would do well in apartments or homes, as long as he gets his walks and occasional playtime outside. He€™s a match for either a quieter household or a more active one, and would be best with an intermediate-level dog owner who understands dog body language and can help him continue thriving. Here's what their foster had to say about them after a sleepover: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:fa167d31-f0df-4204-986d-9d9f2c8b8815"Submit an adoption survey from above and our team will reach out via phone or email (check spam) to schedule a counseling call.
