Is usually curious about other dogs he doesn't know, but needs to be introduced to them VERY slowly. With the dogs he lives with, he is very comfortable with them and plays with them often and is also very protective of them. Good with cats? no Good with children? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with kids under 10 Activity Preference: Needs in-house activities, Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow, Champion couch potato IQ: Average Link's favorite things: He loves squeaky and chew toys, though in particular he really tries to take out the squeaker whenever he can. He loves to go outside and run around the yard and doesn't mind going for walks. Some of the things that he LOVES includes rice, pickles, cheese, and peanut butter. He also loves having a bed in a space where people are, either a dog bed or a blanket. Link is good at: behaving in the house, making me feel safe, walking on a leash, cuddling, playing, catching balls/frisbee Ideal home: someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard, Lots of exercise opportunities Training Needs: socialization with people, socialization with dogs, needs obedience training Health issues: He has anxiety which we give him trazadone when people are coming over or when he needs to go to the vet. He can have accidents as a result of his anxiety, especially when going on car rides. He also has issues with his anal glands not fully expressing sometimes, which needs to be expressed manually or at the vet. Meet Link Link is a handsome American Bulldog who is the best cuddle companion you could ask for. He is such a loyal and supportive dog who loves to be around people that he's comfortable with and LOVES to cuddle. He also loves to play with chew toys, run around the house, and is just a giant goofball all around. He's also very protective and loyal to a fault and will always be looking out for you and anybody else in the house, but he's such a softy and loves to cuddle and have attention. He's also a very loud snorer, so I hope you're ready for that! He is anxious around people and dogs he doesn't know, so patience will be required for socializing him with other people, but once he's comfortable, he's absolutely the best companion you could ask for. Unfortunately due to rapidly changing life circumstances, he needs to be rehomed and is desperately looking for someone who would have the patience with him, so he can be comfortable and be the best cuddle dog he can be.
