About Dudley

He was found wandering as a stray in rural Webster Parish, severely emaciated and heartworm positive. Despite everything he had been through, his gentle spirit shone through from the very beginning. The kind woman who found him stepped up to foster and lovingly guided him through his heartworm treatment, giving him the second chance he so deserved. As he regained his strength, his playful personality began to emerge. Living on a farm, he quickly discovered that chasing cows and horses was great fun — a little too much fun — so his free-range privileges had to be limited for everyone’s safety. One of his favorite things in the world, though, was spending time with the family’s young son. He formed a special bond with him, showing just how affectionate, loyal, and people-oriented he truly is. Now healthy and thriving, he’s ready to find a forever home where he can continue to feel safe, loved, and part of the family.
