He’s the perfect companion if you’re looking for a loyal dog who appreciates both leisurely walks and quiet naps by your side.While Shinzo may take a moment to observe new people before warming up, once he decides you’re a friend, he transforms into a total love bug. He gets along beautifully with the dogs in his foster home and is also wonderful with kids (though he’s not a fan of cats). Unlike many herding breeds, Shinzo is refreshingly mellow—he rarely barks, and when he does, it’s with a deep, dignified voice.This boy has excellent house manners: he’s fully house-trained, uses a doggy door like a pro, and knows how to settle calmly indoors. He’s a polite walker on leash and doesn’t demand constant activity—just enough exercise to stretch his legs and then he’s perfectly content to curl up next to you.
