About Lucy

We first met Lucy about 2 years ago, surrendered to a Utah shelter for a supposed bite. But after her eval it's just not something we can ever believe she would do. She is beyond sweet and we found her a wonderful home with a kind man and his young Akbash, Zack. She was home. Until her kind owner suddenly passed away and Lucy, along with Zack, were facing euthanasia. We only had a couple of days to find a safe place for this bonded pair, thankfully a hero stepped up, a foster. Lucy takes a bit to warm up, she is protective but she loves deeply. She's been through a lot and we will be extremely selective on where she and Zack go, together! They are like an old married couple. :) Both dogs are great with cats, Lucy is good with young male dogs, needs very slow intros with females. This sweet pair is being fostered in MT.
