About Butchey

Paws Crossed Dog Rescue serves the Eastern Panhandle of WV and nearby areas. Please read ADOPTION INFO on the left side of our website to learn about the adoption application process. Butchey is a 2 1/2 -year old, neutered male, weighing-in at around 35 pounds. He's a good boy that likes to be active. He was lacking in confidence and social skills. He has been in training for several months now and has done a great job ! He has learned to politely play with other dogs and make friends with many humans . He walks well on a leash and does well out in public. A dog savvy household will be best for him. Continued training would be a plus. He can be in a home with other dogs. However we believe Butchey would do best in a home with an older, mature, stable, female canine. We want him to maintain his newly acquired skills. If allowed, he can become overly attached to his human. Butchey's currently still in a boarding / training facility due to a lack of fosters in rescue. He will require a physical fence.
