Animal Profile: Looking for a partner in crime? Meet Felon! He's a neutered male Belgian Malinois that is around 18 months old, 55 lbs, and is ready for a person to call his own. Despite his menacing name, this boy is a bundle of joy in a svelte package. Felon loves to go at full speed and would be a fantastic companion for someone looking to get into dog sports -- dock diving, barn hunt, IPO -- he wants a shot to shine! In typical Malinois form, he is highly intelligent, loyal, and athletic. He shows moderate food drive and high toy drive and is an exceptionally quick learner. He does have an off switch and is content to chill on place command with a stuffy toy, or in his crate. Felon is very friendly meeting new people and has lived with other dogs as well as cats, but will be best in a cat-free home. Felon has a strong grasp of basic obedience training including recall, place and loose leash walking. With this foundation he's ready to shine with a family dedicated to providing ongoing mental and physical stimulation, structure and leadership. Animal History: Felon was rescued from a chain in Baton Rouge Louisana by Trample Dog Rescue and taken in by The Good Dog, who relocated to Bellingham. He is currently being fostered by The Good Dog Way in Bellingham and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. Potential adopters will need to be available to meet Felon in Bellingham, WA.
