About Rocky

Rocky came to the shelter from the city pound when his time was up and no one had claimed him. We do know a little about his history and know that he's around a year old and Rocky is his real name. He's a little shy at first but warms up quickly and is loving and playful. He has been vet checked, neutered, and microchipped and his fee is $150. Rocky is a young dog who has had a little basic training. He needs a home that can provide him with the exercise he requires. He did live with kids in his previous home. We do think he could do okay with a female dog with proper intros. We have no way of knowing about cats. He really is a honey! NOTE: Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South. We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
