About Rex

Rex is looking for his forever home. He was surrendered at just a mere 8 months old to One Dog at a Time ODAAT because of his severe separation anxiety. He was born in February 2018 and is a Husky, Terrier mix. A lot of people might have given up on Rex. He is deaf, suffered from severe separation anxiety, and had no training whatsoever. But the people at ODAAT believed he'd be a perfect candidate for their training partnership with a local prison, Rockview. Rex learned great basic commands while staying at the prison and a couple of really special ones. He is no longer in the program and is ready for his forever home. Because Rex is deaf, we truly feel he would require another pup to be able to live life to the fullest. Older children only. Rex is protective of his people. He is committed through and through with the person he bonds with. He will require a special family to be able to bring him to his full potential. Rex will not be able to be a social butterfly.
