About Athena - OK

Athena is a very sweet senior girlie currently located in Oklahoma. Athena was brought back into rescue when her owner could no longer care for her due to serious health issues. She is food and toy motivated and she knows some basic obedience and understands how to play fetch (easily returns with the ball). She has a lovely temperament. She loves nothing more than to be close to her humans. She will stick to you like glue and will follow you everywhere. The vet even remarked about how sweet she is. She gets along with other dogs - she is currently living with a male Malinois. She will not be placed in a home with cats or small critters due to her prey drive. She is a very smart girl and is opportunistic and came to her current foster as a counter-surfer. They are working with her to curtail this behavior. She has lots of personality and you will never find a more enjoyable companion to share in your everyday adventures. She will be by your side through thick and thin.
