This 21-pound Chihuahua / Fiest mix is just under a year old and is the perfect combination of cautiously curious and endearingly sweet. She came from a bad situation, and watching her discover the joy of toys, chew bones, and the occasional stolen shoe is the kind of thing that makes your heart absolutely melt. Mimi is housetrained when on a good schedule, loves her crate and treats it like her personal treasure vault where she stashes her favorite toys for safekeeping. She gets zoomies outside and then zooms back to stare up at you with the happiest little face, like she just wants to make sure you're having as much fun as she is. She also enjoys winding down next to her people, sometimes resting her head on a shoulder. She is still learning leash manners and does great with car rides in her carrier. Mimi is good with most calm dogs and cats, and once she warms up to you she is an absolute love. She is a sensitive soul who needs patience while she builds confidence, and a securely fenced yard is a must since she will need time to feel safe and settled in a new environment.
