When our volunteer arrived, she was chained to a tree… nervously waiting. Waiting for someone to decide her fate. That someone was us. We named her Aurora — because every life deserves a sunrise after the dark. And while we can't change her beginning, we can absolutely rewrite her ending. At just one year old, Aurora had never been inside a home. Everything was new. Floors. Sofas. The sound of a TV. The comfort of a soft bed. She was timid at first — and who could blame her? But with patience and kindness, this beautiful girl is blossoming into a typical boxer. She now plays happily with the other dogs in her foster home. She behaves like a lady on vet outings.
