Meet Dixie Dixie is a 1–2 year old female DDB/Corso mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She's truly the queen of her castle—raised as an only dog from a puppy, she prefers to keep all the love (and toys!) to herself and lacks dog-to-dog social skills. Because of this, Dixie would do best as the only dog in the home. She absolutely adores her people, is not destructive in the house, and is perfectly content entertaining herself—especially with her favorite Jolly Ball, which she'll happily toss around for hours. Dixie has great house manners and enjoys a calm, loving environment. Sadly, due to medical issues with her owner, Dixie has found herself displaced and is looking for a fresh start. She would love nothing more than to find her forever home before the New Year and begin her next chapter with a family who will cherish her.
