About Bourbon

Meet Bourbon! Bourbon is a calm, loving, and well-mannered young pup who's ready to find his forever home. He's crate trained, enjoys a peaceful routine, and absolutely loves spending time outdoors—whether it's a leisurely walk or just soaking up the sunshine. Bourbon is great with other dogs and people, making him a wonderful companion for a variety of home environments. He's currently heartworm positive, but his treatment—fully funded by the rescue—will begin soon, so he's well on his way to a healthy future. He also has a bit of character: Bourbon experienced an ear injury in his previous home, but our vet confirmed it was professionally treated and has no lasting impact on his health or hearing. If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate dog who's already got great manners and a heart full of love, Bourbon might just be your perfect match. Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The microchip is transferred to the adopter once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a one-time $15 microchip enrollment fee. Microchips are enrolled with AKC Reunite. Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
