About Utah

Meet Utah! Utah is currently at Chi Town Rescue waiting for a special foster or forever home. Utah originally came to the rescue years ago with a few other dogs; they were rescued from a hoarding situation. Utah is a little shy when he first meets someone new and takes time to warm up. Once he knows and trusts you, he shows you his fun personality. Utah loves to go out to the play yard and if you sit with him, he'll definitely roll over to get lots of belly rubs. Utah enjoys chasing and chewing on toys (especially squeaky toys). He also loves sniffing in the sunshine with his fellow Chi Town dogs, then hanging out in his kennel for some chill time. Utah gets along with the other small dogs at the rescue but he doesn't like big dogs. Utah is approximately ten-years-old but he is definitely a "young" senior that enjoys playing with his kennel mates and time out in the play yard. He is neutered, has a microchip, updated vaccines, and recent dental. Utah needs an adopter or foster who will give him time to adjust to a new home, and love him just the way he is. He will need a home with a secure, fenced yard (no apartments please, as Utah is not leash-trained) and no small children. Email chitownrescue@gmail.com for more info and/or meet and greet appointment with Utah!
