Art is a 3 year old male Pit mix who may be the lifelong companion you've been looking for. This sweet, affectionate boy truly seems to savor every moment he spends with people, whether that means enjoying gentle pets, leaning in for affection, or simply being by your side. He has a low to medium energy level and settles quickly once out of his cage, making him an easygoing and pleasant companion in many different settings. On leash, Art is attentive and happy to follow your lead, which makes walks together calm, relaxed, and enjoyable for both of you. Weighing around 45 pounds, he's a good size, perfect for adventures out and about, or just as content to hang out on the couch together. Art is ready to offer loyalty, comfort, and plenty of love to the lucky person or family who takes him home, so be sure to meet this wonderful boy soon. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
