About Zena

Meet Mama Zena — The Playful, Loving Shepherd Mix Zena is a gorgeous 1–2 year old shepherd mix, weighing about 45 lbs, with a heart as big as her energy. She is smart, eager to please, and already has some great basics down — she's potty trained, leash trained, knows “sit” and “lay down,” and has excellent recall. This fun-loving girl is all about fetch, squeaky toys, and anything that bounces. After a good play session, she turns into a total snuggle bug who wants nothing more than to curl up with her humans. Zena is currently in foster care with one of her daughters and a senior dog, and she plays beautifully with both. She has shown a little bit of resource guarding, but with consistency, structure, and reassurance, she continues to improve every day. Zena would thrive in an active home that's ready for adventure, training, and lots of love. She's sweet, smart, and so ready for her forever family.
