About SKY

Sky (A140958) is a 1-year-and-4-month-old AK Husky x Pointer mix who weighed just over 45 pounds on intake! 01/22/26 This active lady is Sky! Sky was surrendered to the shelter and looking for an active home. She is trained in a harness and would love to join a rec team. Sky is used to living outdoors on a dog house; however, her surrendering owner felt that she may enjoy transitioning to the indoor lifestyle. With that in mind, she will need help with the transition – potty training, kennel training, basic commands, etc. She is a friendly girl, but can be a bit too rambunctious around children. She has no experience around cats, but based on her breed they felt she would chase after them. She was said to do well with other dogs and is always interested in meeting them.
