About Mikasa

Meet Mikasa! This sweet baby girl was dropped off in a parking lot after possible owner surrender. We're not sure why the cutie would be cast out but she landed in the right place!! She is currently in The DASH Prison Training Program where she is working her puppy manners and basic commands so she can be the best girl for her new family. She is working on basics such as sit, stay, down, wait & leave it. She is doing well but due to her age will need continued guidance/training from her new family as she acclimates to her new home. Her handler reports that she is a very smart lovable dog, "she is a fun dog to train & be around", noting that when first waking up or if he is out of sight for a while, she gets very excited & happy to see him! Mikasa loves all people and gets along well with other dogs of all sizes. She is an energetic, affectionate, loving girl who has a great personality and loves to get all the attention she can get as well as treats! Mikasa is housebroken, crate trained, and learning how to walk on a leash. Due to her current foster placement Mikasa has not been introduced to cats or children of any age so proper introductions to both would be needed.
