About ROWDY - COMING SOON!

Rowdy is a 5 year old male that came from a kill shelter in AL. The shelter he was with closed and would have been euthanzied, but we were able to help him. He is with a foster in AL and was vetted- which is when we found out that he is heartworm positive. He will be treated and then can travel to WI. SAdly the treatment cost about $1500 and takes about 4 months. He is a large, but thin boy. He loves to run!! He will try to jump up on your but if you turn your body, he knows to not jump up. He could use some manners to avoid this all together. He isn't a fan of cats -he will chase them. He is a big goofy boy and would love to have an active family that would run and play with him. A fenced yard would be ideal, but not required. He would be best with kids over age 12 due to his size. He was in a foster home with other dogs and farm animals and had no issues. He is ok on a leash - so he could benefit from leash manners. He needs a foster or adopter in order to travel to Wisconsin.
