About Trixie

NOTE: If you are seeing this posting, she's still available :) Meet Trixie! We were told she was born on 1/11/22. Her mom looked to be a boston terrier mix. Trix is tipping the scales at 25lbs and is lean because she's always on the go given her age. Trixie is a very sweet girl, who just needs some basic training. Her fosterhome has a fenced yard and since she has had minimal leash training, that works best at the moment. She needs routine & some manners to be the perfect family pet. Trix is up to date on all of her vaccines, is spayed and was tested for HW and tick borne diseases - all were neg. She has the shiniest sleek black coat we've ever seen on a pup before! She's very treat motivated and when it comes to taking commands, she's all ears LOL Her friends are a group of adult dogs as well as a couple of young shepherd mixes that are double her size also with us. Trixie's favorite game is fetch & she actually brings the ball back to you! Recent small breed experience is a must since they're just not for everyone & definitely not for the 1st time dog owner. This girl would NOT do well in a city environment, so we're seeking a more rural home since that's all she knows.
