About Dallas

Dallas has all the classic traits people love about cattle dogs—smart, loyal, adventurous, and full of personality. This confident pup approaches the world with curiosity and a cool, easygoing attitude that makes him a joy to be around. In his foster home, Dallas has already shown how adaptable he is. Whether it's experiencing snow for the first time or spotting a horse, he takes new adventures in stride and handles them like a champ. He's the kind of pup who is excited to explore, learn, and be right by your side for whatever the day brings.Dallas is a fun, bright puppy who will thrive with a family ready to keep his mind and body active while giving him plenty of love along the way. This pup was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. The litter was treated for mange and are now ready for a fresh start! They will be available to meet starting 2/21!Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. Check out our events page for upcoming open adoption events! We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time. When we do, it will be updated here. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
