Xena was recently returned to the MAGSR family after spending several years in a loving home since she was a puppy. While this was not the outcome anyone hoped for, sometimes life circumstances change in ways that are beyond a family's control. Xena was deeply loved, and her family knew that she deserved the opportunity for a fresh start—one MAGSR promised to provide. We welcomed Xena back with open arms and committed to finding her an incredible match as she moves forward into her next chapter. Xena is an active, intelligent, and impressive girl who thrives when she has a job or a purpose. She is highly motivated to learn, eager to engage, and has a strong foundation that sets her up for success. Always happy to try new things, Xena needs regular mental and physical stimulation to stay balanced and fulfilled. She is not a couch potato and is looking for an active family that will challenge both her body and her mind on a daily basis. This structure not only helps her continue building skills but also supports her confident, stable personality. Having lived in a home for several years, Xena understands many of the ins and outs of household living. She is crate trained, housebroken, and familiar with household expectations. As with any dog transitioning into a new environment, Xena will need time to adjust to the routines and rules of her forever family. True to her breed, Xena does take her role as a guardian seriously and can be protective of her home and property. Her forever family should be prepared to understand and implement best practices that help keep Xena feeling secure, supported, and successful. At the end of an active day, Xena is more than happy to relax with her people. She is affectionate, enjoys closeness, and loves settling in for the evening with those she trusts.
