Meet Leonardo: The Artist with a Colorful Past! Straight from a high kill shelter and right into our hearts, Leo is a 14 pound, roughly 3 year old mutt masterpiece. Once spray painted in bright blues and pinks and abandoned as a matted little mess on the streets of Texas, this resilient boy has washed away his past and is ready to paint a brand new future. Leo considers himself a true expressionist. His mediums? Love, loyalty, and the occasional perfectly executed sit for treats. Housebroken, leash trained, and wonderfully well mannered, this talented gentleman has fully mastered the fine art of being a very good boy. He doesn't love being in the crate yet, but he eventually settles in when needed. Leo doesn't want a home with other dogs. He gets along fine with them most of the time and then gets protective of his toys. He would likely do well with kids, though there aren't any in his foster home. Despite everything he's been through, he remains playful, sweet, charming, and affectionate. This cutie is ready to trade in street art chaos for couch cuddle serenity!
