About Buddy

Sweet Buddy was discovered alongside his sibling in Texas, on the side of the road. Tragically, his sibling was involved in a car accident and did not survive. Despite this heartbreaking loss, Buddy remained steadfast by his sibling's side, honoring their memory for what may have been days until he was eventually rescued. Now, Buddy is in need of a loving forever home. This incredible pup is a young large breed mix, full of playfulness and affection. Currently located in CT, Buddy has shown to be excellent with dogs of all sizes. While his compatibility with cats is uncertain, he has demonstrated a friendly disposition towards people and children. Buddy is full of energy and enjoys an active lifestyle. He does not have any health concerns and may exhibit some jumping when excited, although not excessively. He is walks well on a leash, and is taken outside three times a day. Looking Glass Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) virtual rescue, using a network of dedicated fosters throughout the Northeast to care for our animals until adoption.
