Animal Services

We are the animal shelter and animal law enforcement for Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater and unincorporated Thurston County. We are funded by city and county tax dollars, pet licensing fees, and donations. We provide a large number of services to our community, including: 24-hour emergency pick-up and medical stabilization of stray injured pets, with owner notification for animals wearing identification; pick-up of confined stray dogs or cats in most areas; identification of licensed dogs or cats; 24
