In 1981, Brazos Animal Shelter was incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The facility opened at 2207 Finfeather Road, Bryan in 1983. Brazos Animal Shelter accepted animals from the City of College Station, City of Bryan, Brazos County and surrounding counties. On July 1, 2011, we opened our doors to the new location at 5359 Leonard Road, accepting stray animals from the City of College Station and areas served by the Brazos County Sheriff’s department.
