Somebody to the Rescue is a grassroots dog rescue based in rural Mississippi, founded by someone who saw far too many dogs abandoned, mistreated, and ignored—because everyone assumed “somebody else” would help. We became that Somebody. We take in stray, neglected, dumped, and medically at-risk dogs, provide vet care, rehabilitation, and a safe place to land. Once healthy and ready, our dogs are matched with loving adopters or partner rescues, often transported north to find their foreve
