Rock Bottom Rescue was launched in May of 2025 by Scotts Ridge Middle School student, Claire Aharon. Claire was inspired to start Rock Bottom Rescue after befriending an emaciated stray dog she met while vacationing in Puerto Rico. Rock Bottom Rescue is now a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit with 100% of donations going to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of street animals.
