Animal Harbor is a full-service animal shelter facility. Animal Harbor is operated by members of The Franklin County Humane Society, a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, so most of our funding comes from private donations. We have paid staff now in addition to volunteers who care for our animals daily. Other than finding homes for the displaced pets in our care, our goal is to prevent cruelty by educating the community about animal welfare, proper pet care, and spay/neuter. We hope t
