I am a local attorney for over 20 years on Main Street in Monroe NC. I went to adopt a cat who had been terribly mistreated at the shelter that had him. I ended up having to put the cat down as he was ridden with tumors from Feline Leukemia. I filed a complaint with the State of NC and they shut down the shelter.
